A Hastelloy C276 sheet is a form of a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy known for exceptional resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments. It is used in applications where other materials would quickly fail, such as in chemical processing, marine engineering, and oil and gas recovery. Its composition includes nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and tungsten, providing superior resistance to various chemicals, including reducing acids, chlorine, and chlorides, as well as resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking.
