About Tantalum sheet
Tantalum sheets are thin, flat, and pure pieces of the rare, blue-gray refractory metal tantalum. It is known for its exceptional resistance to corrosion from almost all chemicals, especially at temperatures below 150C. With an extremely high melting point of nearly 3,000C, tantalum sheet maintains its integrity in extreme heat. This combination of properties makes it ductile and suitable for high-performance applications in the electronics, chemical processing, aerospace, and medical industries. Tantalum is also highly biocompatible and inert, allowing it to be safely used for surgical instruments and medical implants Tantalum plates and sheets are hard, rare, and blue-grey as well as lustrous transition metal which is highly resistant to corrosion. It is, in general, a refractory metal which is widely been used in alloys as minor components. Tantalum plates and sheets are very ductile, dense, hard, and easily made-up.
