About 310S Stainless Steel Coils

310S stainless steel coils are an austenitic chromium-nickel alloy engineered for high-temperature applications. As a low-carbon variant of 310 stainless steel, the "S" grade offers enhanced weldability and improved resistance to intergranular corrosion. They exhibit excellent resistance to oxidation in dry air up to 2000F (1100C). This, combined with good strength and toughness even at cryogenic temperatures, makes them suitable for demanding environments like furnace parts, heat exchangers, and petrochemical equipment. SAE 310 stainless steel is a highly alloyed austenitic stainless steel used for high temperature application. The high chromium and nickel content give the steel excellent oxidation resistance as well as high strength at high temperature.
