Nickel alloy 201 pipes are a low-carbon version of commercially pure wrought nickel, containing a minimum of 99% nickel. The reduced carbon content makes it resistant to embrittlement and graphitization when used above 315C (600F), unlike its predecessor, Nickel 200. The pipes offer excellent corrosion resistance in a variety of environments, including strong alkalis, and have high thermal and electrical conductivity.Available in seamless, welded, and ERW (Electric Resistance Welded) forms, Nickel 201 pipes are highly ductile and easily fabricated. This makes them ideal for demanding applications in chemical processing, power generation, food handling, and marine engineering. They are also commonly used in heat exchangers, caustic evaporators, and electronic components.
